Karuna

I hold both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, with a growing research interest in crystallisation techniques. Currently, I am engaged in work focused on generating particles of specific sizes and the formation of spherical crystals to improve the physical properties and performance of small molecules. This interdisciplinary area combines elements of crystallisation engineering and solid-state chemistry.

I believe research should prioritise environmentally responsible practices and efficient use of resources. In my work, this translates into developing crystallisation strategies that achieve precise particle size control and spherical morphology while minimising waste generation and improving energy efficiency. Such improvements not only enhance the material’s performance but also support safer handling, sustainable production, and broader benefits for industry and society.

Outside of my academic and research pursuits, I enjoy listening to music,  reading books across various genres, and spending time outdoors in nature.
